  • First… this class and the ladies in it were exactly what I needed last night after a rocky day. Progress report: got this hangglider trick. Another new one I had never done. >>if you swipe you get to see me get into a bow and arrow. I attempted this three weeks ago and failed. Tried last week and still wasn’t there. Pushed to try again last night… and I got it!! I shouldn’t be surprised how quickly the strength and flexibility comes by continuing to try. But I am still surprised. Now to clean it up - especially that dismount… I keep giving my instructors heart attacks. ❤️ thank you @the_long_legged_poler for the pushes and your confidence in me!

  • “Spin me!” Cause when I’m learning something new and upside down, I have no idea how to plan for the camera. 🤣 Yes… been doing this over 12 years, but these two tricks I’d never done before. Prof that there will always be new things to learn, even for re-starters like me! @levelupfit_artistry
  • I can be my own harshest critic… but only because I know what I used to be able to do. But I am also celebrating my progress on this journey back to the pole. Progress reveals itself with every class, with every week.
  • Andra’s weather horoscope: the weekend will be full of magic. Look at those repeating 7s!!!
  • A friend of mine shared this meme… got me thinking… that was me rolling into my 30s…. I didn’t start pole dancing until I was in my mid to late 30s…. I’m back at it and aspire to be looking like J.Lo as I spiral into my 50s. Get up off that couch! Be like J.Lo!
  • A short little combo at the end of class, when I’m tired and ready to call it. Fine, I’ll do it one more time for the camera.. Also me: okay, I need to point that foot. That flatline needs to be flatter. But look how easy I found my foot. Still me: okay! That’s progress!! Look at me!!
  • When peace is lacking on the inside, I find it outside. And then peace returns to the inside. Last year they constructed a teepee at Knucklehead Point. This year, they’re building a log cabin. I honestly cannot wait for Friday night pint n’ paddle season to begin!
  • Yes! I am ready for summer!! But you prolly knew that…
  • New milestone for Kasey Dunn…. Braces are off!
  • Some progression pics from tonight’s workout. Sometimes the hardest part is remembering how easy these poses used to be. They will be again. Keep watching!
