One of the goals I set for 2015 came as a bit of a surprise to me. I had been tossing around the idea of opening a fitness studio… primarily for offering pole dance classes to give women a better approach to fitness. And as I reflected on New Years Eve and set my vision for the year, that became a dream I was ready to seriously start chasing down. Is there ever a better time for launching a new adventure than at the beginning of  a new year?

How it could happen:

I got a little creative on how I might make that dream a reality, and God let me to a beautiful young woman running a dance studio in Southlake. She is very interested in partnering with me to add some fitness classes to her dance class schedule, making full utilization of her space (and allowing me to launch my dream with low risk and overhead!). However, she got kicked out of her studio space right before Christmas by a greedy landlord (another business offered more money for her space and she was uprooted without notice to another, and very undesirable location in the building).

The need:
She has found a new location in Colleyville, but  she needs some help coming up with the security deposit. She operates as a non-profit, so donations are tax deductible! I am working with her to help raise the funds by getting the word out of her need.

How you can help:

  1. You can make a donation and get some additional information here: https://andrajo.com/fundraisers/colleyville-dance-and-fitness-studio-2/
  2. Spread the word. If you know anyone that might be interested in fun/unique fitness classes or may have an interest in supporting or even becoming a sponsor of the dance studio, please share this information with your friends and network.
  3. Lastly, I appreciate your prayers for both myself and the dance studio instructor. We are both single moms pursuing our passions with a heart of making a difference in the lives of others.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I greatly appreciate your support.

Thank you!
