How is it that I’ve lived in Fort Worth for 15 years and just now exploring the Water Gardens??? This place is amazing! Like an oasis from the city life. #mermaidlife
I saw a post you wrote a while back about a SUP on a convertible. Can I talk to you more about that? I am looking into a convertible but it’s absolutely essential that I be able to pack a board for short distances. Thoughts and ideas welcome!
Leona, I’m sorry I’m just now seeing your message! Yes, I load my SUP board on my convertible. I run the front strap under the frame that bolts the passenger to seat to the car. The back strap is actually run through the seat head rests. I just place a folded beach towel of the windshield. I used to put foam, but the wind would push it out and cause a problem. The towel has worked beautifully tho. I’ll shoot a video the next time I load a board and show how I do it. The only downside is traveling when it’s cold or bad weather. I have driven through a few rainstorms, bus as long as you keep a speed of 50mph or so the rain doesn’t get in the car.

Again, sorry for not seeing your message earlier.
PS: I LOVE my convertible! Highly recommend it!
